John West Surveying Company was originally established in 1946 by Mr. John West in response to a growing need for surveying services in the expanding oil and gas industries of New Mexico and West Texas. Since the company was founded, we have completed literally tens of thousands of surveying projects, for an established and stable customer base. We have provided surveying services for some of our clients over the last 5 decades.

About Us

Our corporate headquarters are located in Hobbs, New Mexico. We are currently providing professional services for governmental agencies and private businesses located in New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado.

Our staff includes professional land surveyors, senior level survey technicians, drafting technicians, survey crew technicians and administrative personnel with the education, training, experience and desire to serve the needs of our clients.

Our survey crews are equipped with the latest state of the art equipment, including Real Time Kinematic GPS equipment. We are licensed to survey in the following twelve states:
